Gun Safes come with lots of different qualities, fireproof, and burglary resistance. Legacy Gun Safes are the top of the line gun safes for the Winchester
name. Based in Fort Worth, Texas you just know these gotta be good.
There are a couple of features I want to point out on these safes.
First, I get alot of calls asking "What is a 4-way Active Bolt work?" You will need to look at the
door opening in the picture. Often times the bolts on the hinge side are fixed or welded into spot or, as with the case of
internal hinges, there are none. But with Winchester Legacy series they have gone to the extra expense of having a more
secure bolt work where the hinge side, top side, bottom side, and opening side all move. Just like on a jewelers vault.
Second, everything things seems to be the upgrade on this model. They jumped in bolt size to 1 1/2 instead of 1 inch.
5 Spoke Handle instead of 3 spoke. One hour fireproof instead of 30 minutes like most. These make these safes well worth
the price.
